Tracy's Message

Now please don't compare my writing skills to Clare because she is just a complete natural !
I just wanted to post a quick blog on a couple of wonderful positives in my life at the moment . Firstly I have to say that the most positive thing going down at the moment is all the incredible support I have been receiving , this gives me strength and helps me focus on my health and I can't thank you enough ! Just know that I am extremely grateful and appreciate everything . Some of you I knew a long time ago. some of you are new friends and some of you are wonderful friends to my sisters who are not only offering support to them but also jumping on board to supporting me. This also completely overwhelms me. You are all so lovely, so thank you to all friends old and new, near and far, and all the friends of friends too Smiling face with smiling eyes

As Clare previously mentioned, Mikes work completely spoilt us and sent us for 3 nights away at Peppers Resort in Kingscliff - what an absolute treat! Thank you Lion ! Of course Taya was in her element when it came to the swimming pools and Mike and her became a couple of mermaids over the trip. I stuck to the spas and Taya never missed an opportunity to immerse herself in the bubbles with me . She was such a gem and always willing to help me (despite being a 'slow coach'). Even though I couldn't play around with her like I usually would have , it was still good to watch her have fun with her Dad while I rested. It was definitely a trip I will remember and appreciate ..... quality time , good food, beautiful surroundings and good rest - yay!

Now... what's 10 weeks old , has red hair, a total character and goes by the name of Charlie? ... The newest member of the Williamson family. This adorable little Cavoodle puppy is just the happiest little guy out there and the moment I met him I knew he was meant to be a part of us. I just burst into tears ! It is so good to be able to take control in bringing something positive into our lives and there is certainly no shortage of love for our little man in our family- not only has he been spoilt with gifts from friends and family but we as a family have also been spoilt ....unbelievably! Thank you Lisa for everything you have done for Charlie and also for contacting the breeder Terry from Woodland Puppies who very generously waived the cost of the puppy! Such unbelievable generosity from someone who has never even met us, it blew us away. Thank you so much, this is really a huge help to us and we promise we will take great care of him .

Everyday I give thanks and appreciation to all our friends who offer their support in which ever form it comes in, but I would also like to thank the wonderful school mums at Pymble Public School for all the delicious meals they have been providing us day after day. These busy mums have families, jobs and households to run of their own, yet find the time and effort to support us so enthusiastically! We are so grateful.

Belinda and Mel and families, I can't say enough good things about you.... you are such special people and I don't know how I deserve your valuable friendship but I am so appreciative of it. Thank you also Belinda for taking such great care of Taya every Wednesday so willingly and consistently, she really loves it and as this is a chemo day for me it puts my mind at rest that she is in good hands.

There's a saying that goes something like .... Sisters by chance, friends by choice.... I have always loved this saying as it is so true and I can totally connect with it having 2 incredible sisters of my own. The love and support I receive from them is absolutely amazing :-)  As I fight this battle I still feel like I am the luckiest person on earth because I have the 2 best soldiers anyone could ever ask for, my sisters ... Sharon and Clare. I really dont know what I what do without them - not only do they do so much for me but I would not be the person I am today without them. Their belief in me and constant love and support is where I get alot of my strength from and if they say I can do something , my trust and faith in their opinion is so strong that they somehow manage to convince me I can do it . To you and your families, thank you will never be enough . XXX

Anyway I will be in touch again soon. With my 6th session of chemo now complete I will be having my ct scan in a couple of days to see how things are going on the inside. Am crossing fingers of course Smiling face with open mouth

Take care everyone xxx

Hi Tracy, don't regularly check Facebook (Clare can varify that!) but glad I did tonight. What an absolutely gorgeous puppy and such a lovely treat for you all especially Taya. So good to hear all the support coming your way and wonderful to hear all the school mums doing their bit to help on the food front. Will definitely agree on the sister love thing! Look forward to hearing/reading some good news soon from your results. Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers....xxx Juliana and Fam
